Cold Fusion or Low Energy Nuclear Reaction is a hypothetical yet a very promising scientific phenomenon.
As compared to normal fission or fusion reactions between the atoms of a radioactive element which produces a large amount of heat, the cold fusion reaction will take place at near room temperature and will produce significantly very less amount of heat, thus giving the name ‘Cold Fusion’ to this process.
The two main elements in a cold fusion are Hydrogen and Nickel along with very small amounts of some other elements.
If and when achieved practically, this technology will be a game-changer in the field of energy production as we see it today.
