Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione concept car was first introduced at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car gained so much fanfare that when production began in 2007, the company received more than 1400 orders for the 8C Competizione alone.
However, the company decided to keep it limited edition and only made 500 units each of the 8C Competizione and the 8C Spider.
The 8C Competizione gets its name in Italian from the dynamics of both the car and the company itself. While 8C represents the 8 cylinders in the engine, the word Competizione is Italian for competition.
It is equipped with a 4.7L 444 HP engine.
